William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Archbishop Wood Vikings (Warminster, PA), 88-79 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, William Penn Charter upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Quakers travel to La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA) to play the Explorers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Explorers come into the bout with a record of 4-0. La Salle College won 57-39 in their recent non-league bout against Northeast (Philadelphia, PA)

Next up, the Vikings play the North Catholic Trojans (Cranberry Township, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Archbishop Wood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 75-48 league win over Ambridge (Ambridge, PA).
