Indiana High School Volleyball - Monroe Central can't hold off Blue River Valley

October 7, 2021: Mt. Summit, IN 47362

In Thursday's league battle, the host Blue River Valley Vikings volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Monroe Central Golden Bears.

The Vikings (11-12) will now prepare for their battle against Cowan (Muncie, IN). The Blackhawks come into the Mid-Eastern battle with a 8-18 record. In their last battle, Cowan was edged by Wapahani (Selma, IN), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Golden Bears encounter the Lapel Bulldogs (Lapel, IN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 12. Monroe Central will attempt to move on its 11-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 15-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Guerin Catholic (Noblesville, IN).
