October 19, 2021: New Kent, VA 23124 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Grafton Clippers (Yorktown, VA) and the host New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA), saw Grafton's volleyball squad beat New Kent by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Grafton upgrades its record to 18-1 on the year. The Clippers travel to Warhill (Williamsburg, VA) to play the Lions in a Bay Rivers bout on Thursday, October 21. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Warhill won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA)
The Trojans now own a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Tabb for a Bay Rivers bout on Thursday, October 21. New Kent will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Smithfield (Smithfield, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 15-6.

Unfortunately, the Lady Trojans were not able to prevail in the remaining three sets, losing 22-25, 21-25, 21-25.
