Connecticut High School Basketball - North Branford overwhelms Haddam-Killingworth
February 5, 2022: North Branford, CT 06471 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) and the visiting Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT), saw North Branford's basketball squad wallop Haddam-Killingworth by a tally of 58-36.
With the victory, North Branford improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Morgan (Clinton, CT) to play the Huskies in a Shoreline challenge on Monday, February 7. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Morgan lost 44-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Stonington (Stonington, CT)
Next up, the Cougars play the Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Haddam-Killingworth will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 46-32 non-league win over Fitch (Groton, CT).
