West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), 59-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Potomac upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Robinson (Fairfax, VA) to face the Rams in a game on Tuesday, January 16. The Rams enter the game with a record of 0-8. Robinson lost 74-48 in their recent non-league game against West Springfield (Springfield, VA)

With the defeat, Lake Braddock moves to 2-3 on the season. The Bruins host Fairfax (Fairfax, VA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 16.
