In Friday's league outing, the St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Chaminade Eagles (West Hills, CA), by a margin of 54-48.

The Golden Knights (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Grant (Van Nuys, CA). The Lancers go into the non-league outing with a 8-4 record.

The Eagles now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Loyola for a Mission outing on Monday, January 17. Chaminade will clash with a Cubs squad coming off a 79-49 league loss to Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA). The Cubs record now stands at 18-4.
