December 29, 2021: Springfield, IL 62704 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Springfield Senators (Springfield, IL) and the visiting Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL), saw Springfield's basketball squad overcome Lincoln-Way West by a tally of 67-50.
With the victory, Springfield improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Senators travel to Rochester (Rochester, IL) to confront the Rockets in a Central State Eight challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Rochester won 47-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Rantoul (Rantoul, IL)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 5. Lincoln-Way West will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record.
