Erwin Warriors (Asheville, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC), 67-58 in a league bout.

With the victory, Erwin upgrades its record to 3-10 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC) to play the Rams in a 3A/4A Conference 53 bout on Wednesday, January 26. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 10-5. T.C. Roberson won 65-41 in their recent league bout against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 53 bout, on Friday, January 28. Asheville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 103-83 league win over Enka (Enka, NC).
