Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD), 81-73 in a league bout.

With the win, Leonardtown upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Raiders host Stone (Waldorf, MD) to play the Cougars in a Southern Maryland bout on Wednesday, December 11. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Chargers play the Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 10. Lackey will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 69-28 non-league win over Cardozo (Washington, DC).
