The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) and the visiting Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC), observed Montgomery Central's football squad bounce Carrboro by a count of 49-0.

The Timberwolves now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they host East Chapel Hill for a non-league contest on Friday, August 25. Montgomery Central will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 47-0 non-league loss to J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.

Coming up next, the Jaguars encounter the Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 25. Carrboro will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Jets go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 49-13 non-league loss to South Davidson (Denton, NC).
