In Friday's non-league game, the Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX) football team knocked off the host Mesquite Skeeters (Mesquite, TX), by a final score of 33-14.

The Wolves (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Sachse (Sachse, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Sachse toppled Wylie (Wylie, TX), 37-24, in a non-league game.
