October 30, 2009: Danbury, TX 77534 In Friday's league match, the visiting Tidehaven Tigers football squad scored a close 14-7 victory over the Danbury Panthers.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Van Vleck Leopards (Van Vleck, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 29 match, on Friday, November 6. Tidehaven will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Leopards enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 13-9 league win over Boling (Boling, TX).
The Panthers (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX). The Cobras enter the 2A Region IV District 29 match with a 8-1 record. In their last match, Industrial held off Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX), 50-23, in a league match.
