Texas High School Football - Hitchcock drops to Industrial
October 30, 2009: Hitchcock, TX 77563 In Friday's league game, the Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) football team knocked off the host Hitchcock Bulldogs (Hitchcock, TX), by a final score of 50-23.
The Cobras (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Danbury (Danbury, TX). The Panthers come into the 2A Region IV District 29 game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Danbury was dropped by Tidehaven (El Maton, TX), 14-7, in a league game.
The Bulldogs now hold a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boling for a 2A Region IV District 29 game on Friday, November 6. Hitchcock will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 13-9 league loss to Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.
