The Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA), 52-38 in Tuesday's league test.

The Comets (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Warriors go into the Lackawanna 2 test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Delaware Valley went down by Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA), 47-45, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Scranton for a Lackawanna 1 test on Friday, January 13. Valley View will encounter a Invaders squad coming off a 60-48 league win over Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Invaders record now stands at 7-5.
