The North Hopkins Panthers basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Alba-Golden Panthers to 36 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Como-Pickton for a 2A Region II District 15 contest on Friday, January 13. North Hopkins will meet a Eagles team coming off a 38-18 league win over Fruitvale (Fruitvale, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 10-13.

The Panthers (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Cooper (Cooper, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 2A Region II District 15 contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Cooper ran past Cumby (Cumby, TX), 63-48, in a league contest.
