The Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Alden Bulldogs (Alden, NY), 61-33 in Tuesday's league test.

The Griffins (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Holland (Holland, NY). The Dutchmen go into the Section 6 Erie County IV test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Holland was trounced by Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga, NY), 58-54, in a league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Buffalo Academy of Science for a non-league test on Thursday, January 12. Alden will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 70-35 non-league loss to Western New York Maritime Charter (Buffalo, NY). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-7.
