In Wednesday's league outing, the Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Alden Bulldogs (Alden, NY), by a count of 72-50.

The Griffins (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Riverside (Buffalo, NY). The Frontiers go into the non-league outing with a 0-15 record. In their last outing, Riverside was crushed by Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca (Buffalo, NY), 78-43, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Sweet Home for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 7.
