The Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) basketball felled the visiting Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), 66-53 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cougars (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Franklin (Franklin, PA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Franklin thwarted Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA), 55-50, in a non-league test.
The Bridgers now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Beaver for a WPIAL 4A 2 test on Friday, January 13. Ambridge will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 62-56 league win over Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA). The Bobcats record now stands at 10-1.
