The Blackhawk Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Ambridge Bridgers to 39 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln Park Performing Arts for a WPIAL 4A 2 contest on Friday, February 10. Blackhawk will battle a team coming off a 66-54 non-league win over Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA). The record now stands at 19-1.

The Bridgers (6-13) will now prepare for their game against Neshannock (New Castle, PA). The Lancers enter the non-league game with a 13-5 record. In their last game, Neshannock knocked off New Brighton (New Brighton, PA), 70-31, in a league game.
