Georgia High School Basketball - Atkinson County ripped by Lanier County

January 10, 2023: Pearson, GA 31642

The Lanier County Bulldogs basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Atkinson County Rebels to 26 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Charlton County for a A D2 Region 2 contest on Saturday, January 14. Lanier County will battle a Indians team coming off a 49-48 league win over Turner County (Ashburn, GA). The Indians record now stands at 13-1.

The Rebels (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Clinch County (Homerville, GA). The Panthers enter the A D2 Region 2 contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Clinch County was routed by Coffee (Douglas, GA), 52-48, in a non-league contest.
