The Troy Christian Eagles basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Bethel Bees to 48 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Covington for a Three Rivers contest on Friday, January 13. Troy Christian will meet a Buccs team coming off a 76-41 league loss to Miami East (Casstown, OH). The Buccs record now stands at 1-7.

With the defeat, Bethel moves to 4-10 on the year. The Bees travel to Riverside (De Graff, OH) to face the Pirates in a Three Rivers game on Friday, January 13. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 4-6. Riverside lost 54-41 in their recent league game against Milton-Union (West Milton, OH)
