The Paul VI Eagles basketball team (Haddonfield, NJ), was nudged 61-59 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Camden Catholic Fighting Irish (Cherry Hill, NJ)
The Fighting Irish now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cherry Hill East for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 12. Camden Catholic will battle a Cougars team coming off a 62-51 non-league win over Rancocas Valley (Mt. Holly, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 8-3.
The Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ). The Crusaders come into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Morris Catholic edged Madison (Madison, NJ), 52-45, in a non-league battle.
