The Paul VI Eagles tipped the visiting Camden Catholic Fighting Irish basketball team by a final score of 53-51 in Thursday's league game.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Middle Township Panthers (Cape May Court House, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, February 4. Paul VI will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 12-9 record after their 68-39 league win over Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ).
The Fighting Irish (14-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pemberton (Pemberton, NJ). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 16-4 record. In their last battle, Pemberton edged Pennsauken (Pennsauken, NJ), 60-49, in a league battle.
