With the victory, East Rowan improves its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to confront the Raiders in a 3A Conference 48 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 1-12. South Rowan lost 86-41 in their recent league challenge against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Carson will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 73-61 league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC).
