In Tuesday's league outing, the Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA), by a margin of 54-46.
The Tigers (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against West Allegheny (Imperial, PA). The Indians go into the WPIAL 5A 4 outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, West Allegheny was topped by North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA), 77-45, in a league outing.
The Colts now own a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mars for a WPIAL 5A 4 outing on Friday, January 13. Chartiers Valley will clash with a Fightin' Planets squad coming off a 49-48 league win over South Fayette (McDonald, PA). The Fightin' Planets record now stands at 8-2.
