Texas High School Basketball - Moody knocked off by Crawford

The Crawford Pirates basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Moody Bearcats to 43 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bruceville-Eddy for a 2A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 13. Crawford will meet a Eagles team coming off a 57-32 league loss to Meyer (Waco, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-14.
The Bearcats (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rosebud-Lott (Rosebud, TX). The Cougars enter the 2A Region III District 17 contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Rosebud-Lott ran past Bosqueville (Waco, TX), 44-32, in a league contest.
