The DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ), 46-41 in Tuesday's league test.
The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, NJ). The Green Knights go into the Big North - United test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, St. Joseph Regional was tipped by Bergen Catholic (Oradell, NJ), 62-43, in a league test.
The Paladins now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Northern Highlands for a non-league test on Thursday, January 12. Paramus Catholic will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 62-35 league loss to Ridgewood (Ridgewood, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-5.
