In Thursday's league outing, the Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ) basketball squad edged the visiting DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ), by a count of 63-62.
The Paladins (7-11) will now prepare for their outing against Saddle River Day (Saddle River, NJ). The Rebels go into the non-league outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Saddle River Day was tipped by Bergen Catholic (Oradell, NJ), 72-41, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now hold a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to South Shore for a non-league outing on Sunday, February 5. DePaul Catholic will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 67-53 league win over Brooklyn Collegiate (Brooklyn, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 12-3.
