Michigan High School Basketball - Detroit Cristo Rey can't hold off Our Lady of the Lakes

The Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the host Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES to 33 in the Lakers league victory on Tuesday.
The Lakers now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Austin Catholic for a Catholic Intersectional II contest on Friday, January 13. Our Lady of the Lakes will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 41-39 league loss to Cabrini (Allen Park, MI). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-7.
The WOLVES (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Universal Academy (Detroit, MI). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Universal Academy was nudged by Star International Academy (Dearborn Heights, MI), 53-38, in a non-league contest.
