The Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES to 36 in the Lakers league victory on Tuesday.
The Lakers now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Austin Catholic for a Catholic Intersectional II contest on Friday, February 3. Our Lady of the Lakes will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 43-30 league loss to Cabrini (Allen Park, MI). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-9.
The WOLVES (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Academy of the Americas (Detroit, MI). The come into the non-league contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Academy of the Americas was defeated by Detroit Collegiate Prep (Detroit, MI), 75-14, in a league contest.
