Iowa High School Basketball - Forest City can't hold off Eagle Grove

The Eagle Grove Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Forest City Indians to 51 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Hancock for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Eagle Grove will battle a Eagles team coming off a 65-52 league loss to Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
The Indians (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Garner-Hayfield (Garner, IA). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Garner-Hayfield nudged North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA), 69-46, in a non-league contest.
