Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Forest City Indians (Forest City, IA) and the host Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA), saw Forest City's basketball squad overcome Eagle Grove by a tally of 56-39.

With the victory, Forest City improves its record to 3-11 on the campaign. The Indians travel to West Hancock (Britt, IA) to confront the Eagles in a North Iowa challenge on Friday, January 27. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. West Hancock won 58-53 in their recent league challenge against North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA)

Next up, the Eagles confront the North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Eagle Grove will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 74-65 non-league win over Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA).
