North Carolina High School Basketball - East Burke thwarted by Lincolnton

The East Burke Cavaliers basketball team (Connelly Springs, NC), dropped 51-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC)

The Wolves now possess a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maiden for a 2A Conference 45 battle on Friday, January 13. Lincolnton will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 66-53 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-2.

The Cavaliers (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Rebels come into the 2A Conference 45 battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, West Lincoln dropped by West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC), 84-40, in a league battle.
