Loyola Bull Dogs (Detroit, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI), 77-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Loyola upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Bull Dogs host Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI) to play the Cardinals in a Catholic Intersectional I bout on Friday, January 13. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Cardinal Mooney Catholic lost 51-46 in their recent league bout against Lutheran North (Macomb, MI)

Next up, the play the University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Everest Collegiate will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 69-65 non-league loss to Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI).
