The Everest Collegiate basketball team (Clarkston, MI), was overwhelmed 67-30 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Loyola Bull Dogs (Detroit, MI)

The Bull Dogs now possess a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Mooney Catholic for a Catholic Intersectional I battle on Friday, February 3. Loyola will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 52-51 league loss to Lutheran North (Macomb, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-7.

The (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, University Liggett trounced Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 56-54, in a non-league battle.
