The Rough Riders now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rider for a 5A Region I District 5 battle on Friday, January 13. Saginaw will battle a Raiders team coming off a 49-31 league loss to Northwest (Justin, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 13-9.
The Pirates (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against Aledo (Aledo, TX). The Bearcats come into the 5A Region I District 5 battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Aledo dropped by Azle (Azle, TX), 53-50, in a league battle.
