California High School Basketball - Torres ripped by Hoover

The Hoover Patriots basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Torres Toros to 31 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a County/Metro contest on Thursday, January 12. Hoover will battle a Rough Riders team coming off a 76-69 league win over Madera South (Madera, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 8-7.
The Toros (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sunnyside (Fresno, CA). The Wildcats enter the County/Metro contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Sunnyside triumphed over Fresno (Fresno, CA), 71-40, in a league contest.
