With the win, IDEA Sports Park upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Stingrays host Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX) to clash with the Bobcats in a 3A Region IV District 32 bout on Friday, January 13. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 14-9. Rio Hondo won 79-21 in their recent league bout against IDEA Riverview (Brownsville, TX)

Next up, the clash with the Santa Rosa Warriors (Santa Rosa, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 32 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. IDEA Weslaco Pike will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 107-59 league win over Monte Alto (Monte Alto, TX).
