With the win, Karns upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Beavers host Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN) to clash with the Wildcats in a 4A District 3 bout on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Oak Ridge lost 59-57 in their recent non-league bout against West (Knoxville, TN)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Campbell County Cougars (Jacksboro, TN) in a 4A District 3 bout, on Friday, January 13. Powell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 102-91 non-league loss to Knoxville Central (Knoxville, TN).
