Connecticut High School Basketball - Wamogo can't hold off Shepaug Valley

The Shepaug Valley Spartans basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Wamogo Warriors to 64 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomaston for a Berkshire contest on Friday, January 13. Shepaug Valley will battle a Bears team coming off a 69-46 non-league loss to Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT). The Bears record now stands at 2-7.
The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Gilbert edged Litchfield (Litchfield, CT), 54-42, in a league contest.
