With the victory, Mansfield upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Jonesboro-Hodge (Jonesboro, LA) to play the Tigers in a 2A District 3 bout on Friday, January 13. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-6.

Next up, the Tigers play the Florien Blackcats (Florien, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Many will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Blackcats come into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 59-53 league loss to Stanley (Logansport, LA).
