The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats (Scurry, TX) basketball crushed the host Mildred Eagles (Corsicana, TX), 62-36 in Tuesday's league test.

The Wildcats (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Rice (Rice, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region III District 18 test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Rice was trounced by Kemp (Kemp, TX), 64-37, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Eustace for a 3A Region III District 18 test on Friday, January 13. Mildred will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-48 league loss to Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-17.
