Texas High School Basketball - Mildred can't hold off Scurry-Rosser

The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Mildred Eagles to 61 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rice for a 3A Region III District 18 contest on Tuesday, February 7.

The Eagles (11-17) will now prepare for their contest against Eustace (Eustace, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Region III District 18 contest with a 7-22 record. In their last contest, Eustace was nudged by Malakoff (Malakoff, TX), 54-44, in a league contest.
