Miller Grove Wolverines (Lithonia, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Westminster Wildcats (Atlanta, GA), 50-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Miller Grove upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Wolverines host Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA) to play the Jaguars in a AAAA Region 6 bout on Friday, January 13. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Stephenson lost 53-46 in their recent league bout against Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Druid Hills Red Devils (Atlanta, GA) in a AAAA Region 6 bout, on Friday, January 13. Westminster will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 55-48 league loss to Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA).
