Texas High School Basketball - New Boston trounces Queen City

The New Boston Lions (New Boston, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX), 74-25 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lions (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Hooks (Hooks, TX). The Hornets go into the 3A Region II District 14 test with a 19-4 record. In their last test, Hooks walloped De Kalb (De Kalb, TX), 56-54, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Pewitt for a 3A Region II District 14 test on Friday, January 13. Queen City will encounter a Brahmas squad coming off a 61-36 league loss to Atlanta (Atlanta, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 2-19.
