The Tahoka Bulldogs basketball team (Tahoka, TX), was toppled 56-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the host New Home Leopards (New Home, TX)

The Leopards now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plains for a 2A Region I District 5 battle on Friday, January 13. New Home will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 73-24 league win over Post (Post, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 19-4.

The Bulldogs (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Sundown (Sundown, TX). The Roughnecks come into the 2A Region I District 5 battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Sundown beat Seagraves (Seagraves, TX), 51-30, in a league battle.
