The Spring Lake Park Panthers basketball team (Spring Lake Park, MN), was overwhelmed 100-68 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Park Center Pirates (Brooklyn Park, MN)
The Pirates now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Totino-Grace for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 12. Park Center will battle a Eagles team coming off a 63-53 non-league win over Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
The Panthers (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Champlin Park (Champlin, MN). The Rebels come into the AAAA Section 5 battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Champlin Park trounced Centennial (Circle Pines, MN), 75-59, in a non-league battle.
