The Park Center Pirates basketball team scored 88 points and restricted the host Spring Lake Park Panthers to 69 in the Pirates league victory on Wednesday.
The Pirates now sport a 16-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Louis Park for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Park Center will battle a Orioles team coming off a 85-38 non-league loss to Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Orioles record now stands at 2-15.
The Panthers (5-12) will now prepare for their contest against Elk River (Elk River, MN). The Elks come into the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Elk River prevailed over St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN), 69-50, in a league contest.
