In Tuesday's league outing, the South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA) basketball squad edged the host Parkview Panthers (Lilburn, GA), by a count of 54-53.
The Comets (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Brookwood (Snellville, GA). The Broncos go into the AAAAAAA Region 4 outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Brookwood was tipped by Newton (Covington, GA), 79-59, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Grayson for a AAAAAAA Region 4 outing on Thursday, January 12. Parkview will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 71-44 league win over Archer (Lawrenceville, GA). The Rams record now stands at 10-3.
