South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Parkview Panthers (Lilburn, GA), 65-55 in a league bout.

With the win, South Gwinnett upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Comets travel to Brookwood (Snellville, GA) to clash with the Broncos in a AAAAAAA Region 4 bout on Friday, February 3. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 10-12. Brookwood lost 73-43 in their recent league bout against Newton (Covington, GA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Grayson Rams (Loganville, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 4 bout, on Friday, February 3. Parkview will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 59-43 league win over Archer (Lawrenceville, GA).
